Emissions Monitoring
Our air emissions monitoring service offers clients a unique resource, combining expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to help identify problems with and verify emissions from stacks, chimneys and vents.
Monitoring of air emissions is an essential service for all businesses which hold an IPC permit. Our work with DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), in establishing the guidelines and process for emissions trading, provides us with a broader insight into the UK emissions industry.
Our people are MCERTS certified and utilise mobile laboratories with equipment capable of identifying and monitoring a broad spectrum of commonly encountered and more unusual emissions. Our service is both ISO9001 and UKAS accredited, guaranteeing that we operate to the highest technical standards and that our tests and outputs meet the exacting requirements of the UK regulators.
Our clients encompass a wide spread of industries and range from manufacturers and power plant operators to local and central Government departments. In addition to stacks and vents, our measurement equipment can also be used on other types of plant, including:-
Cremators
Boilers
Chemical Industry Process Plant
Engines
Incinerators
Furnaces
Turbines
The services we offer include:
Stack emissions monitoring
DEFRA authorisation
Dispersion modelling
Ambient atmospheric surveys
Soil surveys
Calibration of in-situ dust monitors
