Knowledge Management
TUV NEL Management Consulting has been active in knowledge transfer for over 15 years, delivering major national programmes for Government and other public sector customers.
Knowledge management and the effective transfer of knowledge is a major challenge for many organisations and in particular for Government; which has a role to increase the awareness and take-up of a wide range of technologies within industry. At the heart of effective knowledge transfer is the ability to take complex, often leading-edge technical subjects and to translate jargon into readily understood language; delivered effectively to a target audience.
This delivery can take many forms: from publications and web sites, through to facilitated workshops, seminars and conferences.
A further delivery mechanism, developed by TUV NEL Management Consulting over 10 years ago, is the use of live technology demonstrators. Designed to improve awareness, of for example e-business technologies, the demonstrators use a live workshop environment to show the technology in action; illustrating how business can gain benefits from its use. We have developed a number of demonstrators in technology areas such as e-commerce, web marketing and integrated manufacturing.
Our services are based on first-hand knowledge and understanding of a wide range of technologies, applications and industries including e-business, sustainable technology and European Framework research.
