Originally established as the engineering specialists within the UK Department for Trade and Industry, TUV NEL has over 50 years experience of dealing with the public sector. Now an independent and successful private business, we continue to assist the public sector with a range of initiatives and programmes.

Since these early days we have maintained and developed our strong links with central and local Government and are trusted to assist them regularly in meeting the needs of UK industry.
As the leading source of knowledge and its innovative application, both within the UK and internationally, we are rightly seen as the catalyst for industry collaboration. Typically, we will be charged with managing joint industry projects and research programmes, and often work directly for industry as consultants, or provide knowledgeable resources on secondment.
