Renewable Energy Devices
At TUV NEL we have a wealth of experience in helping both large and small organisations involved in the renewable energy sector.
We provide a combination of independent advice and practical support designed to assist our clients in the development, monitoring and expansion of their renewable energy capabilities. The services we provide can include the engineering development of systems, research and development, technical due diligence and testing. We can also call on the expertise of our specialists in related disciplines to provide general or specific engineering consultancy support.
One of the key elements of our service is access to our fully operational wind test site. This is located to the south of Glasgow and has been operational since 1984. It can be used as an equipment test and development centre, allowing clients to evaluate new products under real conditions.
When you deal with TUV NEL, your primary interface will be a team of dedicated, highly qualified engineers who have a real understanding and experience of your business area. In turn, they have access to our extensive, market leading, experimental test facilities backed up by our high-grade data acquisition instrumentation and comprehensive suite of design, data analysis and modelling tools.
We apply our experience and professional skills to remain at the leading edge of emerging technology. This proven expertise can cover, for example: large scale hydroelectric technology development, through pioneering research into wave energy, to small scale testing and modelling of wind energy conversion systems. We also have experience and expertise with fuel cells and Hydrogen power.
