The Engineering and Flow Programme

The National Measurement System (NMS) receives advice on the objectives, priorities and progress of the Engineering and Flow Programme from the Engineering and Flow Programme Working Group.

There is a similar set-up in all the NMS Programmes.

The members of the Working Group represent the beneficiaries of the Engineering and Flow Programme. Their advice enables the NMS to commission and monitor the publicly-funded measurement programme so that it delivers optimal impact and benefits in order to meet industrial and public needs.

The Engineering and Flow Programme Working Group provides specific advice to the NMS on the technical content of the programme and its impact. In particular, the Engineering and Flow Programme Working Group is involved in the prioritisation of projects for inclusion in future programmes and in reviews of research in progress.
